Do different size bowls fit KitchenAid Food Processor?

Filed under: Electric Food Processors — admin at 6:17 pm on Thursday, March 31, 2011

I have a 7 (or a 9 cup?) KitchenAid Food Processory. I’d like to upgrade the capacity. Do I need to buy an entire new processor, or can I just buy a bigger bowl. Do the different sized bowls fit all the bases??? Thanks.

Making my kids eat more vegetables? Ideas?

Filed under: Electric Food Processors — admin at 11:07 am on Monday, March 28, 2011

Alright, so my kids are to the age where they’re being picky about what they eat. Any ideas about how I can sneak veggies into the food they like? My oldest likes meatloaf but without chunks of veggies. Would it work if I were to put veggies in the food processor before mixing it into the meat so there aren’t noticable chunks?

Is there any substitute for a grater?

Filed under: Electric Food Processors — admin at 9:31 pm on Friday, March 25, 2011

I’m supposed to be making carrot cake cupcakes for my daughter’s bake sale tonight – and my grater seems to have vanished completely from the kitchen. Is there any other way to grate 8ish carrots? I have a vegetable peeler and a blender (not food processor) – could those work somehow? Thanks so much. I would just run out and buy one but I’m waiting for an important delivery.
