can i use a food processor to make smoothies? or do i have to have a blender?

Food processors, Blenders and Smoothie Makers all do basically the same thing. They puree the foods placed in them.

So yes, use the food processor if that is what you have to work with.

you can use both. but i personaly like blenders lol.
(oh and when you make a smothie try strawberry n banana it really good use milk instead of ice!!! it awsome) if your not allergic of course…

It is better to have a smoothie blender than to use a food processor. Hamilton Beach makes one. I saw one at walmart.

My daughter uses her mixer to make smoothies as she doesn’t have a blender. It works just as well.

Yes, in fact it takes less time for it to blend; because a blender is taller and must cycle everything down to blades.
