New Food Processor – What to make!?
Hi,
I’m looking for quick and easy recipes to make in my new top of the range 12-cup (with 4 cup attachment) food processor. Any suggestions? What are your faves?

I love to cut butter/shortening into flour in my FP… for pie crust or biscuits. Goes very quickly, so don’t get carried away!
Shredded cheese is also nice; no need to buy it pre-shredded chz anymore. Buy it in big blocks, shred it yourself, and save money.
It’s also good for making homemade mayo.

Merange! (sorry spell check doesn’t offer the correct spelling, but I am sure you know what I mean), have fun with it!
Oh and light and airy sponge cakes and pastry?

Hi: I have a small 6 cup one of these and have to say that a Chef’s knife and cutting board, along with a nice quality blender will get you the same prep results for most recipes and they aren’t as hard to clean.
The only thing I ever made in my processor was cole slaw. You use the shredder head that comes with your processor. Cut cabbage head into chunks to fit into the feeder tube, and shred. Peel and cut carrot pieces to a length that will fit into the feeder tube and shred. You can also add raw peeled and seeded cucumber, raw peeled and seeded summer squash, raw peeled and trimmed fresh broccoli stems. Place all into a bowl and add your favorite coleslaw dressing or if you want a French Canadian twist to it, use a good oil and vinegar dressing with fresh herbs and fresh ground pepper. Refrigerate for about 20 mins and serve (if you leave it in the fridge too long it gets mushy.)
