I own a blender and recently purchased a food processor. In the future, I hope to acquire an electric juicer, and a stone mortar and pestle.
Which of these appliances, at least the two I already have, would do the jobs otherwise done by the juicer and the mortar-pestle?
I want the mortar and pestle to use for mixing a paste of clay mud for my skin, but would I really need it for grinding other foods if I already have the blender and the food processor?
Can fruit juices be made with the blender or food processor? Do I even need an electric juicer?
Next, I would like to grind whole-bean coffee when I got the chance. I don’t want to risk hurting my blender, it was a Christmas gift, and I don’t even think it is sturdy enough of a brand [my mom couldn't afford a top-model blender, she payed perhaps for it at WalMart]. The food processor is Hamilton Beach brand, and I’ve never really had much contact with a food processor before, and it is relatively small, but my fiancee took a look at it and casually remarked, "that’s a good food processor, baby."
I’m so confused!!!
Plus, I would read the directions to my food processor for help, but I bought it from a yard sale, and it was devoid of its packaging.
What should or shouldn’t I buy?
