How Do You Make Home Made Spaghetti Or Tagieatelli?

Filed under: Electric Food Processors — admin at 9:31 am on Sunday, October 17, 2010

I know a part of the recipe- for every person you use one egg and 100g flour. Then you put it in a food processor. That’s all I know. I don’t know how to tell when it’s processed enough and what happends if it isn’t.

And can you use a hand blender instead of a food processer? What if you don’t have a food processor?

Please and thank you!

Food Processor + Hand Blenders?

Filed under: Electric Food Processors — admin at 6:21 pm on Monday, September 6, 2010

Hey, recently started doing some cooking and don’t have either of the above, but alot of the recipes require me to use a Food processor to mix stuff up, for example cream crackers, garlic and some herbs, some others have more some even less, some recipes like soup i need a hand blended to blend them.

I don’t really fancy buying each of them as i don’t have alot of spare cash, so can i just buy a Hand blender like: http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/4232331/Trail/searchtext%3EHAND+BLENDER.htm and can it do both he same jobs? it has a little Food processor tub so i Guess i only need to buy one of these? or will i still need both?

Food processor vs. Braun multiquick hand blender?

Braun has this seemingly great multi-purpose hand blender with a mixer, chopper and beater attachments. What will a food processor offer that the Braun appliance doesn’t?
Thanks

I’d like to make smoothies using a hand blender to minimize space and cleanup. Are there any you recommend, and do they crush ice?
I guess I meant to say "stick blender". Are there any good stick blenders that crush ice?

Using a hand blender for smoothies?

I’ve never made a smoothie in my LIFE but I love them and have just recently been given a hand blender. Can I use this to make smoothies and soups, or do I need a larger blender? Does anybody have any nice simple recipes for a beginner?

Can I make a milkshake with a hand-blender? (And is it compulsory to have ice-cream in milkshakes?)?

Filed under: Electric Blenders — admin at 1:46 pm on Friday, July 30, 2010

I thought milkshakes consisted of Fruit and Milk…Or skittles or chocolate orange or whatever flavor milkshake you want. But I want to make a banana milkshake – do I make it with just Milk and Banana? I don’t need ice-cream or ice do I??
The hand-blender part of my question is the most important bit by the way..
