He/She who has the most electric kitchen gadgets wins?

Filed under: Electric Food Processors — admin at 12:22 pm on Monday, July 11, 2011

My wife has threatened divorce if I get any more but this is what I have

1 stand mixer
1 blender
1 hand mixer
1 stick blender
2 food processors (big and small)
1 toaster
1 pasta machine
1 crepe maker
1 cotton candy machine
1 crock pot
1 wine chiller
3 juicers (not my fault…..wedding gifts or shower gifts)
1 electric skillet
1 fully automatic ice cream machine
1 freezer bowl ice cream machine
1 microwave
2 refrigerators
1 spice grinder
1 bread machine
1 electric smoker
2 drip coffee makers
1 espresso machine
2 electric perk coffee makers (one huge and one 10 cup)
1 electric knife sharpener
1 waffle iron
1 steamer/rice maker
1 vacuum sealer
1 dish washer
1 electric scale

And, I bet somebody is going to put something on their list that I forgot. Is there anybody out there that has a more ridiculous list than I (and trust me, half of my list is a waste).

Can you cream butter and sugar (e.g. frosting) without a machine? Any tips for doing this by hand?

Filed under: Electric Food Processors — admin at 1:36 pm on Wednesday, December 8, 2010

Recipes for frosting often call for creaming butter and sugar with a food processor or hand mixer, because I do not have these items, let alone any small appliances, I need to do this by hand, but cannot find any suggestions for this.
